Plagiarism is an issue I feel should be addressed. The Westside High School handbook defines plagiarism as,  “Engaging in academic dishonesty, including cheating, intentionally plagiarizing, wrongfully giving or receiving help during an academic examination, or wrongfully obtaining test copies or scores.” Unfortunately it’s a big problem in schools today. As Mrs. Pam Dooley says, “Plagiarism is so big, that if you  perform this conduct, you can get kicked out of school.”  A teacher would want to read your work rather than someone else's!! “Hopefully teachers will explain how bad it really is,” said Assistant  principal Mr.George. Please do not plagiarize!! As it says on a poster in Mrs. Riggs’ classroom, “Cheaters risk everything and gain nothing.”
