Russian metro blast by Dylan Painter

On Monday of this week in Russia in the St. Petersburg Metro Station, there was a suicide bomber attack that killed 14 people. The attack was carried out by Akbarjon Djalilov who was a Russian national born in Kyrgyzstan. His DNA was later found at a second metro station where the bomb was defused. The train driver was praised for helping save many lives in the attack. The bomber’s motive was unclear, but Russia is calling it a terrorist attack. The scene is still under investigation to determine the reason of the attack.
