National crayon day by Lauren Robertson

March 31st was National Crayon Day. If you haven’t heard, Crayola is retiring one of their famous colors that come in the 24 pack Crayola crayons. Dandelion yellow is being cut from production and replaced with a mystery color. This is only the fourth time a color has been cut and the first time in history a color has been cut from the 24 pack. But crayola has another trick up their sleeve… they’re replacing the yellow color with a blue and having fans vote to name it! Some people are upset about dandelion’s cut and voiced their disapproval on facebook with #dontgo, but others are excited about the blue.
