13 Reasons Why review

About two weeks ago, a new Netflix original was released on the popular movie streaming site. Within the fourteen days its been out, people have fallen in love with the show. Apparently, they rightfully are, because it has a 9.1/10 rating on IMDb, 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, and Google Users gave it a 95%. The show has a few familiar faces, such as Dylan Minnette from the 2016 horror film Don’t Breathe, Kate Walsh from Grey's Anatomy, and Miles Heizer from Nerve.
The show is called 13 Reasons Why and is based off a 2007 book by Jay Asher. It tells the story of Hannah, who committed suicide. After her death, Clay, who was a friend of hers, finds a box of tapes that consist of Hannah telling the listener why she killed herself. As Clay listens to the tapes, he finds out about what people did to Hannah that pushed her towards her suicide. In total, there are 13 episodes, one for each side of each tape.
So, if you need a new show on Netflix to binge, you may wanna check out 13 Reasons Why if you haven’t. -Jey Riggs
