North Korea

North Korea has recently test-fired four ballistic missiles that are banned by the UN. These four missiles went 620 miles into the ocean. These test-firings are justified in North Korea’s mind because the United States and South Korea have been performing military drills along the Korean border; the North Koreans insist that these drills are practice for a invasion of North Korea.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been quoted as saying,”North Korea is a new kind of threat.” Prime Minister Abe was speaking about the threat North Korea poses with their new nuclear program. Japan is very uneasy at the moment see as that three of the four missiles landed within 200 nautical miles of Tokyo, the Japanese capital. The United States have 28,500 troops stationed in South Korea. Plus an additional 50,000 troops in Japan.  ~ Nate Gaines
