Construction during school hours-

Teachers get on to us all the time for distracting others while we work, but when it comes to something of our “benefit,” it’s fine. How fair is that? There was construction going on during ACT testing, which was very distracting to the ones who were on the other side of the wall. ACT is one of the most important tests you will ever have to take; it’s very stressful and needs to be taken seriously. Everyone needs an equal opportunity because college isn’t cheap.
Also, recently the construction was requiring all the doors to be left open making it very cold. When it is really cold, it makes it harder to concentrate because all you can think about is how cold it is. We are very appreciative of this new accomplishment, but it could be done at a different time. Right now it’s too cold to be leaving the doors open, and also we are right around the end of the school year, which means a lot of testing occurs. ~ Madison Long, Davanna Gargaro, and Hallie Loggins
