It’s mid February, so if you plan on taking a vacation this spring/summer, now would be a good time to start planning it. You should book your rooms and excursions early so that they’re guaranteed, so you can have something to look forward to for a few months. I’ll help out by posting weekly articles covering some pretty interesting places. We’ll start things off with Miami, Florida. Clocking in at around 16 hours away this will be a longer drive, but it will be worth it if you’re a fan of hip-hop music. Starting May 7 through the 11th is Rolling Loud, a festival seemingly put together for our generation of music fans. Tickets will cost $250, but honestly I would’ve been willing to pay almost double that, and you might share the same opinion when you see the list of performers. As far as music festivals go, this one is by far the most underrated that I’ve seen. With around 15k in attendance last year, the promoters have still managed to put together a star studded lineup. Headliners are Kendrick Lamar, who will also be headlining Coachella later this year. Future, Lil Wayne, A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, and Young Thug. If you don't happen to be a fan of any of them then just keep reading because I promise that you will find someone that you like before you reach the bottom. Fans of Kevin Gates, Chief Keef, and XXXTENTACION should take this chance to see them as it will be one of their first shows when they all get out of jail. I see this as a once in a lifetime event. I’ll be attending and maybe you will too. The full lineup can be found on the Rolling Loud website.
