"For Honor" game review by Kaevyn Spencer
For Honor is an action fighting game that is developed and published by Ubisoft (company behind Assassin's Creed as well as all of the Tom Clancy games). The game features a melee combat system that the developers like to call the art of battle (easy to learn but hard to master) and allows players to play the roles of historical soldiers such as medieval knights, samurai, and vikings. The campaign for this one is different and unlike most others. There is a bloodthirsty warlord that goes by Apollyon. He who believes, the people of the three factions, have grown weak since they have maintained peace with each other and want to create an age of all out war through manipulation of each faction. The perspectives of characters within each faction are shown as events shaped like battles and agendas created by Apollyon to ensure continuous sparks of conflict between the Legion (knights), the Warborn (vikings) and the Chosen (samurai). This game is going to require internet and is going to release February 14, 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One so pick up a controller and choose your faction, and hopefully I’ll see you on the battlefield.
