No starry nights around here, unfortunately

When we got the announcement that the Starry Night might be cancelled, the student council members started trying to sell tickets and talk up the dance. So why was this Starry Night a failure compared to last year’s Winter Waltz? Our student council members said it was because “lack of interest in our student body.” Research says that winter activities are more popular when they are put on before Christmas when the excitement is still building up. Since our Winter Waltz was cancelled, perhaps we should schedule it before Christmas. In addition, it’s obvious that we need more school spirit. Maybe next year’s winter dance will be better!
