Auditioning for The Voice by Megan Ferguson

Ever since I was little, I have loved singing! All I do is sing sing sing! On January 14, 2017, I auditioned for The Voice. My mom and I drove to Nashville, Tennessee and stayed at my aunt and uncle’s house on that Friday. We woke up on Saturday about 7 A.M to start getting ready for my audition at 12:00. I was really excited about auditioning, but I was even more excited to meet my internet best friend Hatti. Hatti and I have been best friends for six months, so we were super pumped to meet! We met at Dunkin Donuts, and I made a Youtube video out of us meeting. I will put the link to it at the end of this article. We finally got to the Music City Center in Nashville, and we stood in line for about two to three hours. The weather was really nice, so it was a great day. When we finally got inside, we went through this long process to get to where we needed to be to audition.  Hatti and I got split up, so we were not able to audition together; I ended up auditioning with her sister and cousin, which was pretty cool too. I did not make it on The Voice, but it was an amazing experience, and I am so glad I got to meet Hatti and her family! If you love to sing, I highly recommend you audition for The Voice because it is an amazing life changing opportunity!
