The game started off with us knowing that we must win in order to keep our playoff dreams alive. We got the ball in the first half, marched down the field and scored on our first drive. We had a big task at hand on defense by trying to stop their air attack-- not because of their receivers but their quarterback who was 6 feet 8 inches tall.
We had the lead going into halftime; the score was 21-0. Our air attack helped us put the score up to 35-0. It was a masterpiece of destruction. We ran the ball wherever we pleased.
They had a last minute touchdown to put the score 35-6, but it didn’t matter because we knew the game was ours. The next team we have to worry about is Brookland (which is a rivalry game) and another game to keep our playoff chances alive.
