How to bake: instant chocolate cake in a mug
Do you ever get really hungry after school, but when you look to find something to satisfy that sweet tooth, there's just nothing there? This simple but sweet instant cake in a coffee mug recipe is the perfect idea for an after school snack.
First, add the following ingredients together:
- ¼ a cup of flour
- 5 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- one egg
- 3 tablespoons of milk
- 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- a dash of vanilla extract
- A dash of salt
Mix all these ingredients together in the coffee mug until they are smooth. Then, microwave the cake for 2 minutes until it's soft and puffy. In my opinion, whipped cream tastes AMAZING on top of this simple cake (and so does Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup if you are a chocoholic like me).
