NFL Recap- Zach Dawson

Ravens (2-0) vs. (0-2) Browns

The Browns haven’t been good in a while. There is always a glimmer of hope before the season gets started for the Browns, as for every team. But the Browns can never seem to get it together. Last week they lost their starting QB RGIII. Making this worse than they anticipated. The Browns started off good in this game. Up 20-2 at the end of the first quarter. The 2 points the Ravens had came from a blocked field goal kick returned all the way back, and after that it was basically over. The Browns offense couldn’t produce, and the Ravens defense was strong throughout the game. Late in the game, the Browns were down 25-20 and driving late in the fourth quarter. Until a late, mind-blowing call set them back more than enough yards to end the game for them. Final score, 25-20 Ravens.

Seahawks (1-1) vs. (1-1) LA Rams

Yes, that is correct. They are once again the LA Rams. Now, it’s the first regular season game back home in LA in about 22 years, and we can only assume the Rams want to start off with a win. It would be a defense type of game. This game had 4 field goals, which was all the points both teams could get out. Going into the half, LA led 6-3. There was no scoring in the third quarter. Then came an odd 4th. The Rams did get another field goal to take a 9-3 lead. Then later the Seahawks began to drive. Though it shortly ended on a catch-- where one of the Seahawks players caught the ball and turned up field and got met which lead to a fumble and a recovery by the Rams giving them their first win in 22 years in LA by a score of 9-3.
