On the 21st of April, local residents of suburban Houston got a pleasant surprise visit from an unwelcome guest. Residents were shocked to find a Bengal tiger walking through their neighborhood. The police captured the cat and took it to the shelter and then tried to put together the story. Apparently, when the flooding hit Houston, one of the trainers took the tiger to a friend’s house to take care of it; he wasn't prepared, and the cat escaped. Luckily it had been declawed and was more like a house cat than a tiger.
