A few of Westside High School’s National Honor Society members are volunteering to collect donations for Make-A-Wish both at the school and in Bono on February 19th. The volunteers at the school will be outside from 7:30 a.m. until the first bell and from the last bell until around 3:20 p.m. Volunteers will be located in Bono from 6 a.m. through 6 p.m. to collect donations.
Make-A-Wish is an organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. These wishes can dramatically improve the life of these kids and serve as a turning point in the fight against their illnesses. They make wishes come true through the help of volunteers and people who donate money to the cause. Make-A-Wish grants a wish to a deserving child, on average, every 38 minutes. For examples of these touching stories and to learn more about the organization visit
If you are interested in donating to this amazing cause, please see an NHS volunteer at one of the above locations on February 19th.
