A man from Ravenden, Arkansas survived being trapped in his vehicle for 24 hours after a wreck. The wreck happened Sunday morning when the driver was on his way to the Friendship United Methodist. The driver swerved to avoid a deer and ended up wrecking his truck. The truck was wedged between two cedar trees and the driver was pinned so tightly that he could not free himself or even reach his phone to call for help. A couple found the driver early Monday morning. He was airlifted to the St. Bernards medical center and then was later airlifted to UAMS in Little Rock for further treatment. He sustained many injuries, but he survived.
