Clever or Foolish? by Megan Howlett

Edward Snowden was an American Computer professional. He knew the ins and outs of the American Institution and the NSA. The National Security Agency’s job is this: “The NSA/CSS core missions are to protect U.S. national security systems and to produce foreign signals intelligence information.”

Edward Snowden was aware of the fact that the NSA was globally looking at people’s personal information. They went into the world’s personal files by looking into your email and social media’s personal information. Snowden didn’t believe that this was the correct way to be doing this. He also didn't agree about going into people’s personal stuff without their permission or knowledge of it. So what did he do? He exposed their dirty plans.
Edward Snowden exposed their scheme to hack into people’s emails to get people’s information. How did the government react to this? First, they had to cover their tracks with the citizens. They told citizens that they did that to protect us from another 9~11 happening and that they did that to personalize the ads. Edward Snowden then fled the country to find some safety. He now faces several charges with the law. Now which do you think? Clever or Foolish?
