On Friday, February the 13th, National Honor Society and Interact Club joined together to raise money at Westside Middle School, High School, and at a road block in Bono at the stoplight in town. I was able to volunteer and be a part of this amazing event. Though the weather was chilly and my toes were thinking of falling off my feet, I was thrilled to dance, sing, and raise money for a good cause. Ashleigh Smith was kind enough to let us use her car to boogie down to some rad jams while we attracted attention from pedestrians and vehicle drivers. I danced my heart out with Emily Oldman, Rayven Goad, Ashleigh Smith, and Justice Hendrix. Soon, we were interviewed by Stafford and Frigo, putting us on the radio to announce our good deeds. After a long day of fun, we were able to raise $4,700 from all three places!
